Anthony Calvin Coleman (a.k.a. Flame) is from southeast Houston, TX; born and raised in the Third Ward and Cloverland neighborhoods. Flame has two children, one daughter and one son; and has four siblings, two brothers and two sisters.  Flame grew up having close relationships with both his parents, and notably a close relationship with his uncle figure Lil’ Keke (a.k.a. Don Ke) who is an H-town rap legend. 

Flame first began rapping at the age of fifteen, and started taking the art seriously at age twenty-one. Flame’s style draws from modern influences including Lil Wayne, Lil’ Keke, T.I., Young Jeezy, Jadakiss, and plenty more artists with a “trap” style. Under the independent label Roc Solid, going by the artist name of FLAME or LA FLAME, Flame continues to build his brand and his name in the music industry.
